84 of 1990

The KwaZulu and Natal Joint Services Act 84 of 1990 intends:

to provide for the joint exercise and performance on a regional basis of certain powers and duties in relation to certain functions by local bodies in the area comprising the Province of Natal and that part of KwaZulu which falls outside that Province;
to that end to provide for the delimitation of regions;
for the establishment of joint services boards; and
for the constitution, functioning, functions, powers, duties, assets, rights, employees and financing of such boards;
to amend certain laws; and
to provide for matters connected therewith.
