Repeal of Local Government Laws Act, 1997 (No. 42 of 1997)

- to repeal certain laws pertaining to local government; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa as follows:—
Repeal of laws
1. The laws mentioned in the Schedule are hereby repealed to the extent set out in the third column of the Schedule.
Short title
2. This Act shall be called the Repeal of Local Government Laws Act, 1997.
