The Local Government Affairs Amendment Act 56 of 1993 intends:
- to amend and repeal certain laws pertaining to local government so as to give effect to the fact that certain own affairs functions are being assigned to Ministers for general affairs and Administrators; and
- to provide for matters in connection therewith.
