Media invitation: SAPS and PSL join hands in the fight against crime

In line with the organisations Turnaround Vision of mobilising and reaching out to communities to join hands in the fight against crime in South Africa, The South African Police Service (SAPS) is pleased to announce that it will be entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Service and the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

With this MOU in place, the SAPS seeks to formalise its partnership with the PSL by ensuring that both parties commit to crime fighting initiatives geared towards young people as both perpetrators and victims of crime, crimes against women, children and vulnerable groups with a broader aim of creating social cohesion.

A signing ceremony will take place whereby the National Commissioner of the SAPS General Khehla John Sitole and the Chairman of the PSL, Dr Irvin Khoza will sign the MOU on behalf of the two organisations.

A media briefing will follow where objectives of this MOU will be outlined.
