Minister Mokonyane to lead a community outreach programme and clean-up campaign in Kagiso
The Minister of Environmental Affairs Ms Nomvula Mokonyane will tomorrow, 20 December 2018, take part in an environmental awareness and sustainability initiative that promotes clean, green and healthy environment in Kagiso, Gauteng.
The clean-up outreach campaign will heighten public awareness about the environment portfolio and the key players in the sector.
Minister Mokonyane will further engage with the elderly, women and youth in the community on environmental issues, opportunities within the environmental sector. The community will also be provided with all the necessary information relating to processes to follow in order to access available opportunities within the department.
