KwaZulu-Natal Premier Mr Sihle Zikalala will tomorrow conduct an inspection of telecommunication infrastructure which was damaged in areas around EThekwini recently.
The vandalising of towers belonging to major network companies came in the wake of viral social media posts which were suggesting a link between 5G and the spread of the Coronavirus.
The site visits will be followed by a Webinar where the Premier and various experts will engage with key stakeholders and members of the public on issues around 5G technology and ICT in general.
The Webinar will involve all forms of media including social media, radio and print platforms.
