The leadership of South African Women in Construction – SAWIC in North West is to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Human Settlements and the North West Provincial Government in a ceremony that will be led by North West Premier, Prof. Tebogo Job Mokgoro and Human Settlements MEC, Mmoloki Cwaile tomorrow.
Amongst others, the MOU aims to advance the transformation agenda within the housing sector by promoting and facilitating the empowerment and participation of women in the human settlements delivery value chain, enhancing entrepreneurial development and increasing the number of expertise of women firms and SMME’s providing services and products to the housing construction sector.
The signing of the MOU will take place as follows:
