The Director-General of the Department of Environmental Affairs, Ms Nosipho Ngcaba, will lead a Mandela Month event in Sekampaneng Village in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria, on 27 July 2016.
Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) staff collected the toiletries and sanitary products, as well as a number of non-perishable items such as canned foods, clothing and shoes, as part of their contribution to Nelson Mandela Day on 18 July 2016.
DEA employees will be joining the Director-General for a clean-up campaign and a handover ceremony.
