Update on PIC Board of Directors' appointments
An Interim Board of Directors (BoD) for the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) was announced on Wednesday. The name of one the Board Members was erroneously omitted. Mr Mugwena Maluleke was also appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the BoD.
Mr Maluleke holds a BA degree, a Primary Teacher Diploma, a Master in Labour Law degree and a Master in Business Management degree. He was a teacher, Head of Department, spokesperson at the Gauteng Department of Education District Office and he is currently the General Secretary of the South African Democratic Teachers Union.
The Interim BoD will serve from 12 July 2019 to 31 July 2020. The Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson shall be elected at the first meeting to be convened by the Interim BoD.
