Women in the Presidency Committee congratulates idols SA 2018 winner
The Chairperson for the Portfolio Committee on Women in the Presidency, Ms Thandi Memela, wishes to congratulate Ms Yanga Sobetwa, from Delft in Cape Town, for winning the Idols SA 2018 title.
Ms Memela said her winning re-affirms the position of young female artists, who are breaking barriers in the music industry when given the same opportunity as their male counterparts. For the past three seasons of Idols, female artists have taken centre stage and won.”
“I wish the best for Yanga in her new-found career”, said Ms Memela.
