MEC Helen Sauls-August prepares food and gives Christmas gifts to paediatric patients at Dora Nginza and Livingstone hospitals, 24 Dec

Paediatric patients to get a Christmas treat at hospitals tomorrow

Eastern Cape Health MEC, Ms Helen Sauls-August with Nelson Mandela Metro Mayor, Mr Bobani and Boardwalk management will spend Christmas Eve tomorrow preparing food and giving Christmas gifts to paediatric patients admitted at Dora Nginza and Livingstone Hospitals through the annual donation of food and gifts from The Boardwalk.

Background and activities

For the past 8 years the Boardwalk has been spending Christmas day with Kids from Dora Nginza Paediatric ward. This year has been extended to Livingstone hospital. This year, The boardwalk is bringing its Executive Chef to cook a healthy meal for the kids at the Dora Nginza Kitchen with the supervision of hospital dieticians.  There will also be gifts and entertainment for the kids.
