Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma attends Eleventh Extraordinary Session of African Union, 17 to 18 Nov

The Minister in the Presidency, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will attend the eleventh Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 17 – 18 November 2018. Minister Dlamini Zuma will also participate in the sessions as the Former Chairperson of the AU Commission.

The Extraordinary Session will deliberate on the ongoing reform processes which are intended to establish an effective, efficient and re-energized AU that is capable of achieving continental priorities and goals set out in Agenda 2063.

This important sitting will not only discuss plans to realign the organization, it will also seek to develop a sustainable financing model that will reinforce the independence of the African continent.
