Minister Mkhize to cast his vote in Willowfountain, KZN

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Dr Zweli Mkhize will cast his ballot in Willowfountain, Pietermaritzburg in KZN on Wednesday 8 May 2019.

Dr Mkhize urges every registered voter to ensure that they vote.

“Our people fought long and hard for freedom and the right to choose a government and public representatives of their choice. Each time we vote we pay tribute to those who sacrificed life and limb so that our country and people could be free from apartheid repression. Thousands of South Africans living abroad have already voted and currently those who have registered to cast special votes will also be exercising their democratic right of choosing the government of their choice today on Monday and on Tuesday. All registered voters must go out in their millions to vote on Wednesday 8th May 2019. Every vote counts. Let’s encourage family members, neighbours, colleagues and friends to wake up and go to their voting stations to vote on 8 May. Every vote is important and is needed to move South Africa forward towards a better life for all,” said Minister Mkhize.
