The Minister of Transport, Mr Fikile Mbalula will tomorrow visit PRASA train station facilities to inspect preparation for operation.
On 1 June 2020, the country moved to Level 3 of the government’s risk adjusted approach in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister Mbalula announced that PRASA was not ready to resume operations in accordance to government risk adjusted approach.
PRASA has been engaged with preparations for the resumption of duties.

Morning Operations
06:45 for 07:00: Members of the procession park their vehicles at PRASA HOUSE in Tshwane.
07:00: Procession gets on PRASA vehicles at PRASA HOUSE in Tshwane to travel to Piennarspoort Station.
- Procession arrives at Piennarspoort Station where they will board a train that will travel to Pretoria Station.
