Minister Blade Nzimande visits family of Mountainview train station crash victim, 16 Jan

Transport Minister to visit the Sekoma family of one of the victims of the Mountainview Train Station crash

The Minister of Transport, Dr. Blade Nzimande, will visit the Sekoma family which lost both parents during the Mountainview Train Station crash that took place on the 8th January 2019 in Pretoria.

In paying homage to the family, Minister Nzimande will be join by the senior leadership of the Department of Transport, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) and the Railway Safety Regulator (RSR).

This visit will take place at the conclusion of the release of the preliminary festive season road safety report by Minister Nzimande.

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister and the entourage to the Sekoma family residence.
