It will be a case of Christmas coming early for children at Cool Air Crèche in Mshwathi Municipality tomorrow (Tuesday, 25 July 2017), when KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Mrs Belinda Scott, donates a load of goodies needed by children and the school.
MEC Scott will donate, blankets, mattresses, a stove, refrigerator, pots, etc. to assist the centre which caters for children coming from needy homes. The donation is in response to a moving request that the crèche made to Scott as the Political Champion of uMgungundlovu District.
The MEC will also move to Msunduzi Municipality where she will embark on a door-to-door campaign at Msunduzi Municipality's Jika Joe informal settlement after she was asked by residents to address the issue of social ills and lack of service delivery.
Journalists are invited to be part of these two events aimed at responding to the community needs.
