MEC Desbo Mohono wishes North West communities a Happy Easter holiday

MEC for Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development, Desbo Mohono wishes North West residents in particular the farming community, organized farming formations and all departmental stakeholders a blessed and happy Easter holiday.

MEC Mohono has urged those who will be travelling over this Easter break to obey the rules of the road and return home safely after the Easter break.

“I would like to wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter holiday. To those who will be travelling to their annual religious pilgrimage and other destinations, I wish you a safe journey. Please obey the rules of the road, be alert at all times and patient on the road to ensure your own safety and of other road users.

“Let’s all use this break to reflect and contemplate on who we are and who we want to be. That can be from a religious viewpoint or not, but the contemplation of one’s personal renewal is a useful exercise for each and every one. Enjoy and come back after Easter break refreshed, motivated, encouraged and filled with new hope with a sense of rebirth that will lead you to move ahead with a greater sense of purpose and desire to contribute in realising the vision 2030 of the country of reducing poverty and unemployment amongst others.

As Department we promise to continue with our constitutional mandated responsibilities of supporting our key stakeholders in particular emerging farmers and everyone to ensure economic growth, transformation and agricultural development in our province.

On behalf of the READ department, may I wish everyone a wonderful, happy and safe Easter weekend. May this time of renewal invigorate your spirit and strengthen your faith. Arrive Alive!
