Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha hands over boreholes in Malebitsa Village, 7 May

The Premier of Limpopo, Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will hand-over three boreholes to the community of Malebitsa Village, tomorrow on the 7 May 2019 at 09h00.

The village had three debilitated boreholes. The Premier then requested Lepelle Northern Water to conduct an assessment on the three dysfunctional boreholes subsequently, submitting a report to the Premier’s Office. The three identified boreholes were refurbished in Malebitsa and they will benefit more than 450 households in Section A & B.

Malebitsa Village is in ward 1 of Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality, Sekhukhune District. Water remains a scare commodity in the Province and the country at large. This boreholes will go a long way in alleviating this challenge. The Premier will be joined by the Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality, Cllr Stan Ramaila and Lepelle Northern Water CEO PK Legodi.
