The provincial government of KwaZulu-Natal and Members of Executive Council led by Premier Sihle Zikalala are to conduct an oversight visit in the EThekwini Metro, tomorrow Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
Under banner of Sukuma Sakhe the Premier and MECs will assess challenges facing the residents of the only Metro in KZN.
The visit will focus on responding to challenges raised by citizens, projects which have drastically changed lives over the past 27 years.
These include the provision of decent shelter, access to portable water, early childhood education and food security.
Importantly they will assess the impact of government programs in changing people’s lives.
Various wards will be visited by the Premier and MECs and a report back session will convened with Members of the Executive Council to receive reports.
A detailed list of the visit will be circulated.
