Deputy Minister Chikunga to hand-over ICT infrastructure and science laboratory to Balondo Secondary School in eMpangeni, KZN
The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga, will hand-over ICT Infrastructure and a Science Laboratory, sponsored by the Department’s entity Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS), to Balondo Secondary School in eMpangeni on Saturday, 27 April 2019.
ATNS has adopted a social transformation strategy in which education plays a fundamental role in addressing socio-economic development challenges within communities, especially those that are historically disadvantaged and are located in deep rural areas. The company has chosen to adopt exceptional school programmes that promote STEM subjects, thereby contributing towards the aviation transformation agenda.
