Members of the media are invited to a media briefing to be addressed by Home Affairs Minister, Dr Siyabonga Cwele, on the state of readiness for handling increased volumes of travellers at ports of entry over the festive season. Briefing is in Cape Town, on Wednesday 28 November 2018, at 11h00.
The Minister will share information on how this peak period in the facilitation of movement at SA ports of entry will be managed working closely with government departments and agencies that are involved in the border management environment.
An announcement will also be made on extended operational hours for busy ports of entry.
