Minister Jeff Radebe to handover healthcare facilities in Mossel Bay, Western Cape
The Minister of Energy, Mr Jeff Radebe, MP will hand over the new Asla Park Clinic in KwaNonqaba, a Dental Unit at Alma clinic (Kwanonqaba) and the extensions to the D’Almeida Clinic in D’Almeeida. The three healthcare facilities were constructed by PetroSA as part of their Corporate Social Investment to contribute towards improving access to health care facilities.
In particular the dental unit at Alma Clinic has brought this vital health service closer to the community, saving the community from travelling long distances to the provincial hospital to access this services. The D’Almieda extension has increased the service offerings of the clinic, which now include an in-house pharmacy and a consulting room. A total of R23.9 million was invested in the three projects.
