Minister of Basic Education to host pledge signing ceremony ahead of two-day District Directors Summit
The Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga will tomorrow, Friday 11 October host a NSC pledge signing ceremony at Danville Girls High School in Durban North. This comes ahead of a two day District Directors Summit which will take place at the Capital Pearls Hotel in Umhlanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal from today, Thursday 10 October and conclude on 11 October 2019. The summit will be held under the theme: “Education Districts Transforming Education”.
The quarterly District Directors meetings are convened to look into the performance of districts within the sector, further amplifying the importance strong, effective and efficient education districts which are central to the delivery of quality Basic Education.
