The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Alvin Botes, is embarking on a “back to school” campaign aimed at encouraging learners to focus on their education, which has been identified as one government’s key priorities.
On Thursday, 23 January 2020, Deputy Minister Botes will host students from the Westbury Secondary School. The purpose of the event is to broaden knowledge about South Africa’s international relations work and the careers in the international relations environment that learners could explore after completing Grade 12.
The Deputy Minster will brief the media at the event, which is scheduled as follows:
