Deputy Minister Buti Manamela to respond to questions from students
The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Buti Manamela will respond to the many questions that students, prospective students, parents and South Africans in general have regarding funding of tertiary education.
Together with Dr Randal Carolissen, the Administrator of NSFAS, the Deputy Minister will spend an hour on Twitter and Facebook to respond to whatever questions regarding fee free higher education and all other issues related to higher education.
Hosted by Careers Portal (@Careersportal1), the Deputy Minister and the Administrator will answer questions posed to them through the careers portal Twitter handle. The TwitterChat will take place on Thursday, 18 October 2018 from 12:30pm.
This is the second TwitterChat that the Deputy Minister will host, as he endeavours to open all lines of commutation between the department and students, and ensure that students are engaged constantly to erode mistrust.
