Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela will visit institutions of higher learning as part of monitoring of safety protocols in line with the phased reopening of the Post-School Education and Training system under Level 1. The oversight visits will take place on the 26 -27 October 2020.
Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has already announced a phased reopening of academic activities across the sector in accordance with the relevant alert levels. As a result, universities, community education and training centres, and TVET colleges have already begun to welcome back more students and staff to campuses.
The Deputy Minister will visit institutions of higher learning to assess and monitor the health protocols and the state of readiness for the recommencement of academic activities
