Deputy Minister Fikile Majola addresses dialogue session on African Continental Free Trade Area, 13 Mar

AfCFTA Economic Policy Dialogue Session

Tomorrow, 13 March, the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Fikile Majola, and the Provincial Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities, David Maynier, will be addressing businesses at an economic policy dialogue session on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The AfCFTA Economic Policy Dialogue Session is hosted by the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry, and aims to unpack the AfCFTA with a focus on opportunities and challenges for South Africa.

Representatives from business, academia, organised labour, civil society and government will be in attendance to engage, interrogate and advance the economic and public policy view of the AfCFTA.
