Minister Mchunu to deliver Public Service and Administration Budget Vote
Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Mr Senzo Mchunu will today table the budget vote of the portfolio in Parliament. he maiden Budget Vote, which will be presented at 14h00 in the afternoon, will outline the priorities and strategic points that will be implemented during this financial year as set out in the in the Mid- Term Strategic Framework (MTSF) of the 6th Administration.
Minister Mchunu will provide an account on the progress made in the reconfiguration of government, resolve to address problems of poor governance, inefficiency and financial sustainability in the Public Service, as well as necessary support to be provided to government departments to enable them deliver on their mandate.
Deputy Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga will reflect on the state of the National School of Government (NSG), the Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI), the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS) and the Government Employees Housing Scheme (GEHS) and plans for the financial year.
