Premier Senzo Mchunu visits Meyiwa family with Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Senzo Mchunu will today, during lunchtime join Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza on a visit to the Meyiwa family at K Section in Umlazi Township following the sad passing away of Senzo Meyiwa, the captain of both Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates.

“Hours after we received the news of the passing away of Senzo, we are still in deep shock. The pain is immeasurable across the province and Umlazi Township where Senzo spent his childhood.”

“Crime has inflicted an irreparable damage to the entire nation. No amount of words can express our heartfelt condolences to the family, soccer fans and the entire Orlando Pirates family.”

“We bow our heads in honour of this young and committed son of this province.KwaZulu-Natal has been blessed with a rare breed of soccer players who are too many to mention and these includes:
