KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government welcomes the appointment of Judge Achmat Jappie as Judge President of the KwaZulu-Natal division of the high court.
In welcoming this appointment, Premier Senzo Mchunu said, “On behalf of the Provincial Executive Council, we wish to congratulate Judge Jappie on his appointment. We want him to know that he has our full support. We are looking forward to working with him and are hopeful that under his tenure as Judge President of KwaZulu-Natal division, effective and efficient functioning of the courts will be strengthened. Equally, we are hopeful that access to justice especially for the vulnerable and the poor in our society, will be prioritised.”
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government call upon all the people of our province to give Judge Jappie support required in his execution of duties.
