North West Health urges public to help trace families of unclaimed corpses

Tracing the families of the unclaimed corpses.

Mafikeng Provincial Hospital needs help with regard to identifying the family members of the corpses that have been in the hospital for a long time. The hospital has tried to use the information given to them to trace the families but that did not assist.

The names of the corpses are as follows:

  • Savanna Rima who according to our records is from Zambia
  • Betty Mthimunye who the hospital does not have records of where she was staying at the time of her death.
  • David Mosotho who at the time of his death was staying at 12688 Majemantsho
  • Kgotso Mogoshane a psychiatric patient who was in the hospital for a very long time and the social workers tried to trace her families while she was still alive but could not manage to trace her families.
  • A baby who her mother’s name is Tshegofatso Ncube from Lehurutshe.
  • Nomatjala Meisane who is allegedly from Mpumalanga though she left home long ago. Those who brought her to the hospital while she was still alive highlighted that she said her family members are as follows: Nomakhula and Mirriam Meisane (sisters) and her parents are Samuel and Martha Meisane.
  • Mike Nkomo who according our records is from 50163 Kukama street Majemantsho.
  • Samuel Doe who has been a mental health user in Bophelong Psychiatric for a very long time. Social workers in Bophelong Psychiatric hospital did everything they could to trace his families with no success.
  • Tshosa Seane who according to our records he is from Magogoe Shebela-kwano near Lerato Café.
  • Derkie Johnson Titus who is from Malawi but was renting somewhere in Ramosadi village.
  • Meshak Mashingwanea Psychiatric patient who stayed in the Hospital for a very long time.

N.B: The above mentioned Hospital informs the community that should the above mentioned people not be claimed in two weeks the Hospital will take the responsibility of burying as unclaimed people.
