MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Willies Mchunu, has learnt with shock and outrage that a woman was killed, allegedly by hand grenades that were hurled by her husband yesterday in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban. It is indeed; extremely painful to wake up to the terrible news that a woman has been murdered in such a nefarious manner. We also appeal to the suspect to hand himself over himself to the police and urge anyone who might have any information that might lead to his arrest to come forward,” said Mchunu. Mchunu also extended is heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the woman.
