Happy winter holidays - wishing our school community a safe and restful recess
The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Education, Mr Sipho Hlomuka, extends his heartfelt wishes to all principals, educators, support staff, learners and parents for a happy, safe and well-deserved Winter Holidays following the successful completion of the Second Term. We commend our learners for demonstrating obedience, discipline and respect for the rule of law throughout the term. As we continue implementing the Basic Education Laws Amendment (BELA) Act, 2024 (Act No. 32 of 2024), we encourage every learner to uphold the values of responsibility, accountability and respect.
To the Matric Class of 2026, we urge you to make productive use of the Winter Recess by attending the Matric Boot Camps organised by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education. These support programmes are designed to strengthen your preparation for the National Senior Certificate examinations and position you for academic success. May this Winter Recess provide everyone with an opportunity to rest, recharge and return safely for the Third Term. Happy and Safe Winter Holidays!
