MEC Nomusa Dube opens creche and day care centre at Nazareth In Pinetown, as Part of 67 Minutes for Mandela, 18 July 2013

The Phinduvuye crèche at Nazareth township, outside Marriannhill, was officially opened by the MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, on Mandela Day, 18 July 2013.

The project represents one of KwaZulu-Natal’s most shining examples of public-private partnerships which benefit less-privileged communities, with ABI (Amalgamated Beverages Industries) and the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs and other government departments being the partners.

MEC Dube also visited a day care centre, accompanied by Cllr Sakhephi Buthelezi and other stakeholders, spent time with the residents and donated a new wheelchair.
