KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Cyril Xaba, visited Ziphathele High School in Clermont where he matriculated in the late 80's. The MEC was accompanied by Ward 22 Councilor, Sibongiseni Mkhize, who donated full school uniforms to 11 scholars amounting to R10 000.The MEC pledged to donate R20 000 to the school for school uniforms, enough to accommodate 22 needy scholars of Ziphathele High School.
MEC Xaba shared words of wisdom with the scholars during their morning assembly, reminding them of the importance of respect towards their parents, teachers and fellow pupils. He also emphasised how imperative it is to work hard consistently to achieve success in school as well as their lives in general.
