The Head of Department for Education, Dr Nkosinathi Sishi officially opened the new block at Masijabule High School in Swayimane on the 16 August 2014.
The newly built block that cost the department 12 million, consists of nine classrooms, four laboratories, one computer room and one media room.
In his speech Sishi urged parents and the community to take good care of the school. "We urge you to report any thefts taking place at the school, this is your school ensure that you look at it as your own houses," pleading the HOD.
He then requested all learners to commit themselves on their school work, "As we all know that education is the greatest weapon which you can use to change your lives, it is important that you give more attention to your studies," said the HoD.
