Seven people killed in N2 collision
Seven people were killed during a collision between a light motor vehicle and a bakkie on the N2 highway, about 500m from the Dokodweni off-ramp during the early hours of this morning (03h30). Both vehicles caught alight on impact.
Members of the fire department managed to put out the fire. Unfortunately, the five occupants of the bakkie and two from the light motor vehicle were declared dead on scene. The cause of the accident is now the subject of a police investigation.
