Four people have died during a collision between two light motor vehicles on the N2 highway at Maphosa, near KwaMbonambi. The collision took place at 11h21 today. According to paramedics from the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the scene, two more people have been critically injured, while three sustained serious injuries.
The survivors have been stabilised and transported to Ngwelezane Hospital. The cause of the accident is subject to a police investigation.
