The Department of Education in KwaZulu-Natal is pleased to announce that learners from JG Zuma, Sithengile and Zwelibanzi High Schools will be embarking on a sailing course at sea as part of Nautical Science; which is the new learning area in the curriculum.
They will be part of this exciting course for six weeks. This programme is done in partnership will Sail Africa. The department is also pleased to announce that the Ambassador Programme; which was recently launched by MEC Nkonyeni; is kicking off in earnest this coming weekend; with four districts starting their Saturday accounting programmes for teachers.
The districts that will start the course this weekend are Umkhanyakude, Sisonke, Uthungulu and the Zululand Districts. Other districts will start their programmes in the coming weeks.
