The MEC for Agriculture and Environmental Affairs Dr Meshack Radebe together with the Departments Acting Head, Mr Harry Strauss and a delegation of four embarked on a visit to the State of Wisconsin Milwaukee in the United States of America where a state fair is held annually to exhibit all the Agricultural aspects of the state.
New innovations and pioneered methods of farming and agriculture are exhibited to the public. Part of the delegation from Milwaukee is the Alderman Joe Davis who serves as a Chair of the Common Council's Community and Economic Development Committee and the sister Cities Committee, spearheading efforts to forge new international ties with cities across the globe especially in Africa.
He is currently South Africa's Honorary Consulate of the State of Wisconsin. Also accompanying the MEC, is the Minister: Agriculture Embassy of South Africa Washington Ms Vangile Titi-Msumza.
