Mtubatuba Municipal Manager resigns
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Cogta MEC Representative, Administrator Bamba Ndwandwe, announced today that Mtubatuba Municipal Manager, Mr Siyabonga Ntuli has tendered his resignation.
Ndwandwe said, “Ntuli had a total of 52 charges including alternative charges leveled against him. On Thursday, 12 February Ntuli, tendered his resignation thus making it impossible to proceed with the disciplinary hearing against him.”
Mr Ntuli was suspended on the 20th of October 2014 and formally charged on the 18th of November 2014, continued Ndwandwe.
“Notwithstanding the resignation of Mr Ntuli, the Municipality will continue to pursue both criminal and civil claims against him. The Municipality has suffered immense damages as result of his commissions and omissions as the Municipal Manager,” Said Ndwandwe.
