Happy birthday wishes to His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini from KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Dr Zweli Mkhize - His Majesty was born on the 27th of July 1948

The people of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) have been joined by many people from other parts of the country and the world in wishing Isilo SamaBandla a happy birthday. We are grateful as this province that we have been blessed with the life of His Majesty. He continues to give our province the uniqueness and competitive edge.

Over the years, His Majesty has hosted guests of international note giving the world a taste of our rich heritage and a glimpse to our history.

Importantly, those who have been hosted by the King have been left with a lasting impression of the compassion, friendship and charm of the people of KwaZulu-Natal that the King displays as the representative of our people.

As you celebrate this day Silo SamaBandla – we pray to God that he grants you more strength so that you will continue to be the champion of peace, reconciliation and unity of all our people.

We are heartened by your dedication towards the creation of sustainable livelihoods and your message that people should be an integral part of the fight for the eradication of poverty rings very loud.

We appreciate your ongoing support for all our programmes. Isilo has continued to interact with various leaders and sectors to seek support for the provincial government programmes amongst the business, church and different other stakeholders in our society.

You have been exemplary in advocating for socially responsible conduct and we appreciate your firm stand against drunkenness and substance abuse.

May you continue to provide consistent and bold leadership in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Your passionate love for the people gives us hope that you will continue to be a tireless campaigner for the development of the people of KwaZulu-Natal.

We wish you a Happy Birthday!
