Eskom on load shedding implementation

Eskom has been able to supply the country’s electricity needs and do maintenance without implementing load shedding for the past 54 consecutive days.  Our maintenance plan is aimed at increasing the reliability of our plant, and this will in turn increase our operating reserves and stabilise the grid.

We would like to thank our customers for their patience and support in using electricity sparingly. Every little bit of savings goes a long way in assisting us to manage the demand and supply of electricity and to reduce the risk of load shedding.
