"Working together to build a better country is a responsibility that we all share with each other” these were the words used by the MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Ms Nomusa Dube when receiving the Women of Excellence award from the eThekwini Community Church.
This award which was given to MEC according to the founder of this church, Pastor Vusi Dube, is aimed at recognising the MEC’s role in highlighting the important role of leadership that women play in our country.
When Dube received the award, she thanked the church for this honour and said that she receives this award on behalf of all the unsung heroes who are the backbone of our society.
