Youth Development visits Eco-Friendly Youth Owned Businesses, 7 Apr

Deputy Minister in the Presidency- responsible for Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation- Buti Manamela and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Executive Chairperson, Yershen Pillay will next week continue project visits to NYDA funded youth businesses. This time with a focus on environmentally friendly companies owned by youth, based in Durban.

The visit will start at Carwash Supreme, run by thirty-one-year-old Mbongeni Msomi, which specialises in waterless carwashes and offers an eco-friendly, quality approved service. The gathering will then commence to Sbumeister Trading cc which is an Industrial Plastic Recycler (IPR) based in Pinetown, owned by thirty-five-year old Siyabonga Shange.

The project visits continually afford both the Deputy Minister and the NYDA Chairperson an opportunity to get their hands on deck with actual work undertaken by young entrepreneurs and interact with the beneficiaries to understand their progress and establish if there are any challenges that young business people are faced with.
