Send-off for coaches exchange programme to Brazil

As part of the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sport and Recreation 2010 and beyond strategy Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR) is piloting an exchange programme for coaches with Brazil.

The programme starting this week will expose 13 local coaches to the latest global training techniques that can be used to improve the way football is played and run at South African Football Association (SAFA) Districts. This will also assist local coaches to improve technical and organisational skills.

The participants are highly qualified coaches who have conducted courses in KZN and have also contributed in rolling out KZN Department of Sport and Recreation 2010 and beyond strategy in all the SAFA regions.

The course will take place from 6 November 2010 to 13 November 2010. The identified country is Brazil and Fluminense Football. Club will host the International Coaching Course.

A send-off function will be held for the coaches tomorrow night Thursday, 4 November 2010.
