The Honourable Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Dr. Zweli Mkhize, will be hosting the 2012 Premier's Service Excellence Awards aimed at improving the lives of the citizens of this Province.
These awards are more than a pat on the back of our public servants - they are an indication of how well Government is performing in order to live up to the theme of the Provincial Government this year: "working together for growth, development and a better future for all".
The Premier's Service Excellence Awards are designed to:
- reward employees for a job well done in delivering services to the people
- reward and motivate continuously good conduct and enhance employee satisfaction
- ensure a higher level of service excellence and loyalty
- encourage and reward service excellence which would result in improved working conditions.
This event is expected to be attended by high-profile political leadership of the Province,
officials from nominated Government Departments and community representatives.
