Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni addresses media on departmental measures to combat Covid-19 Coronavirus, 19 Mar

Minister Ntshavheni to brief media on measures in place to support SMMEs in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

On Thursday, 19 March 2020, Minister of Small Business Development, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni will brief media on the measures in place by the government to support Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) following a declaration of the State of National Disaster by President Cyril Ramaphosa in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The media briefing will take place as follows:

Date: Thursday, 19 March 2020
Time: 15h00
Venue: Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Boardroom, 19 Fredman Drive, Sandton.

To access the venue, members of the media covering the briefing will be required to produce an ID or Passport and a Press Card. 

Minister Ntshavheni encourages each and every entrepreneur to remain calm and practice responsible behaviour to contain the spread of COVID-19.

This includes regular washing of hands with normal soap, the use of alcohol-based sanitizers, and maintaining a 1-metre distance between yourself and the next person and also ensure that all working surfaces are wiped and kept clean at all times.
