MEC Dhlomo to brief the media on the Afriforum complaint to the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA)
The MEC for Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo will brief the media on the Afriforum complaint to the HPCSA.
The forum wants the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) to take action against MEC Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo and former Surgeon General Dr Vejaynand Ramlakan for admitting before the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) that they supplied explosive devices during the ANC's 'Operation Butterfly' for a series of attacks on, inter alia, civilian targets at supermarkets and shopping centres around Durban in 1985. Afriforum says the two were registered medical doctors at the time.
