United Nations launch of Award for Anti-Rhino poaching
Media is invited to a press conference to launch the Champions of the Earth Award by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Department of Environmental Affairs.
The Champions of the Earth Award is the United Nations highest environmental honour that recognises outstanding visionaries and leaders in the fields of policy, science, entrepreneurship, and civil society action.
The Award, which is organised by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), seeks to distinguish men and women whose actions and leadership have made a positive impact on the environment.
